HANAGAMI
From a distance, they’re just flowers. Tall, slender blooms on stilts that seem to sway as if a wind were blowing through the room that no one can feel. Anyone who stops, anyone who steps closer, notices it first in their eyes: someone is looking back.
Hanagami are not fairy-tale fairies with glitter dust. They are beings of the in-between, nature spirits who long ago found their way into the pages of glossy magazines.

Fairies on and from Clay
OUT OF CLAY
Quiet little beings with a mysterious presence of their own, my Hanagami fairies. Sometimes they stand as figures, sometimes they live on a wall plate. The clay is shaped, wrapped in silk, covered in collage & painted by hand, layer by layer, until surface and figure become one.An everyday object turns into a small window into another world, one you can keep discovering a little more each day.
This is just the beginning. More pieces in clay, paper and papier-mâché are on the way.
